Fun Week

It's been a pretty fun week for the out here in California.    Shelley's Dad and Grandparents came in for a long weekend, during which they went to Hurricane Harbor, and Ventura, with lots of hanging out as well.  It was really great to see them, and Ella had a blast.   

Gabriella started soccer last Thursday, and that will go for around 10 weeks or so.  She absolutely loved it, and we got a couple soccer outfits for her.  She was the only girl out there, but she was super boisterous, answering all the questions quickly and loudly, but not necessarily correctly.  

On Sunday we took Nancy to the Bower's Museum  for her birthday.  Ella explains it in our little chat.

She forgot to mention that she got a gold terra cotta orrior, and Shelley and I got a book about the exhibit and a set of 5 Mini orriors.

We've been planning Ella's party, and she wants to go to Underwood farms, out in Moorpark, by my work.  We even offered her Disney, but she wants to have a party, so we're going there.  She likes it because we'll get to pick pumpkins and other vegetable while we're there and go in their bounce house and all sorts of fun stuff.

My favorite thing that Ella says lately is when she talks about Shelley walking.  We'll be downstairs laying on the couch and hear Shelley walking around upstairs in the morning, and Ella will get really excited and say "I hear Mommy going Clip-Clop!"  It cracks me up all the time.

Bad Dream

This is a little recording we did yesterday.  I was messing around with our computer and you can do podcasts with garageband.  So I recorded it, and since I can't sleep, I've figured out a way to at least get in on here.  You have to have some sort of compatible thing to play it in, such as itunes, but now I can have this on my ipod, which is pretty cool.  there's some more stuff below too.  Pictures will follow in a day or so, not too long, I promise.

Visit

Just a brief update.  My parents are visiting right now, which Ella is absolutely over the moon about.  She got to stay with them at Nick and Paul's, go to the Huntington Gardens, eat lunch with them at Rustic Canyon and go to the farm, and have dinner at Tom and Cici's.  Also she swam with them, went to the library, showed them her preschool, and tomorrow they get to watch her dance class before they go this afternoon.  

It's been a busy visit as you can imagine, but loads of fun.  In other news, I got a raise at work, and yesterday was the 1st anniversary of me starting there.  We went to see a great magic/comedy/hypnotism show with Tom and Cici in Hermosa Beach a while back, and Tom wants me to help him film the same guy at a different place later this month, which is pretty exciting.  Shelley is progressing along nicely with our little boy, whom she says is huge and won't leave her alone.  Still no progress on the Name front though.    Trying a new thing with the link above, hope it works.
