Accident

the big news around here is Ella's 3 stiches she had to get a couple nights ago.  She fell out of bed at around 1 in the  morning, and was bleeding all over the place, so we took her to the emergency room.  She was really great about the whole thing, she picked out new band-aids and everything.  She's getting them out tomorrow, and it looks like it's healing up nicely.  She was quite excited about taking these pictures, and everyone has been wanting to see, so here they are.  It's really not all that bad, although her eye was really swollen the day after.  She hit the floor pretty hard.  Oh, and there are now safety measures in place, but it is a little hard to get her out of the duct tape in the morning.

What a trooper! Probably even scarier for you guys than for her.

I think if you took a utility knife and told her to tuck her arms under herself, you could get her out of that duct tape pretty quickly, right?

poor, poor! What did she fall on? Cuz that's one heck of a floor if that's al she hit!

Scars are cool, though, that's for sure.

Spencer and Owen were quite impressed but would love to see pictures of blood all over.Granny Joye would love the fact of using duct tape. Duct tape use 2001 - keeping Ella in check.

She makes everything look adorable, even little stitches. I hope getting them out goes/went smoothly!

Evie, I know it is hard to believe but she just hit the floor, it is hard wood, but she landed on her rug. We figure it was just the way she landed and because she was in a deep sleep, so it was just dead weight hitting the floor. I guess swimming twice in one day without a nap can cause deep deep sleep

I hope she doesn't have my gene that when she just walks past a hard object, she gets a bruise. I am constantly finding bruises on my legs from bumping things - but I have no memory of doing so. I am just used to the badges of grace, I suppose.

Did she think it was cool to get the stitches out or scary?
